We’re a mid-sized facility, located in beautiful northern Michigan.

And we're looking for a Steel Fabrication Technician to join our exceptional team of industry-changing engineers, fabricators, mold-makers, and technicians.

As a Steel Fabrication Technician you will be following steel form fabrication process and creating molds for exceptional concrete products. You will work configuring and running a variety of machines in our steel fabrication shop and completing accurate QA checks to make sure everything is ready for our customers.  We are looking for experience in running CNC milling machines, CNC steel laser cutting machines, and a CNC press brake

Proficiencies

•  Work well on a team, and know how to pitch in when things need to get done
•  You know how to take and give feedback to improve team the dynamic
•  Pay attention to detail, and anticipate problems before they become major issues
•  Work smart, efficiently, and safely
•  Know your way around most equipment and tools for metal working.
•  Can move between different tasks easily
•  Prioritize the most from least important things to do
•  Work with purpose/hustle under deadlines

Required Education/Experience

•  High school diploma or equivalent
•  Experience in production machining or fabrication in a manufacturing environment  would be an asset, but isn’t necessary
•  Experience in welding would be an asset
•  Forklift license
•  Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs
•  Ability to pass a drug test
