Wafer Fabrication Operator jobs in Saint Cloud, MN

   Primary Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate day-to-day activities for cell members; be the first point of contact for assigned work
• As a working lead, setup and operate fabrication equipment at a high level of proficiency to contribute to overall production needs
• Assure production priorities are followed and machine unit completion dates are met
• Coordinate material flow to proper locations and on time
• Report completion of machine units  
• Assure proper labeling of parts for next operation
• Train cell team members as assigned
• Will communicate with the supervisor regarding personnel issues requiring assistance
• Communicate openly, share knowledge, build positive collaboration between departments and other shifts
• Monitor cell performance and take corrective action as required
• Assist team members with addressing and resolving issues with parts, tooling, and processes
• Troubleshoot and address any equipment issues that arise
• Ensure safe work practices are followed, housekeeping and routine maintenance tasks are performed

• Ensure quality control processes and part quality meet documented requirements
• Recommend and implement best practices to increase productivity and reduce costs
• Be actively engaged in continuous improvement projects and culture

General Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma, Associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Experience in coaching team members helpful
• Ability to read CAD drawings and blueprints
• Demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC equipment
• Ability to read measuring instruments
• Experience with machinery fabrication
• Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stop, knee, crouch, crawl, or climb
• Experience with Microsoft products including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience or training with computers and ability to learn and use Aagard specific software

• Ability to prioritize tasks, take action and be proactive
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers verbally, in writing, with presentation skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
