    Responsibilities

    Objectives:

    This is a cross functional role to assist in growing a new department at San Juan del Rio facility.  The job will report to the CNC engineer.  As a department startup, duties will include developing processes, operating processes, and documenting processes to support the growth of the department from pre-production to mass production.  The job will require working closely with the existing engineering and quality teams at the site, as well as the production team as the department grows.  The successful candidate will need a hands-on learn by doing approach. 

    Duties:

    Production: 

    • Be proactive in EHS functions observing potential risks and observing the correct use of PPE.
    • Drive first aids to zero by creating awareness and performing corrective actions when they occur.
    • Load production parts into machine (production / operator). 
    • Machine and equipment cleaning. 
    • Mold changes, and program adjustments on CNC. 
    • Tool changes and tool inspections. 
    • Support on any technical issue during production run. 
    • Production reporting as necessary, efficiency tracking and savings.

    Quality: 

    • Perform quality inspections. 
    • Make visual inspection of parts, to ensure Quality requirements. 
    • Operate Inspection equipment. 
    • Generate quality reports. 
    • Perform data analysis on quality reports and feedback from the customer. 
    • Develop production quality control plan.
    • Corrective action reports as necessary to meet customer requirements and internal improvement. 

    Process Engineering: 

    • Document production process in the form of work instructions. 
    • Job safety analysis and required PPE according to the daily activities of the personnel. 
    • Support on any technical issue during production run.
    • Develop new products as necessary. 

     

    Qualifications

    Knowledge and habilities requirements:

    Graduated Engineer, (mechatronic, mechanic or similar).

    2 year experience on process areas preferably CNC operations.

    English (written and conversational).

    CNC knowledge.

    Office software.

    Open to learn and ability of thinking out of the box.

    Committed to work.
