    Job Purpose


    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Safety Manager to join our ISC Wood Cluster team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying Process Safety functional excellence within the respective Cluster, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory PSM requirements, and supporting the identification and mitigation of process safety risks at our manufacturing facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safety and well-being of our employees while driving continuous improvement in process safety management practices.

    Key Responsibilities


    • Administer the deployment of PSM common platform programs and tools and support the respective site HSE&S Managers
    • Supports the identification, risk-based prioritization, mitigation, and management of process safety risks at the cluster sites.
    • Supports the sites in the delivery of PSM targets and common platform objectives via the PSM expert pool.
    • Supports and provides expertise to the sites in the Cluster regarding the understanding and the implementation of company and regulatory PSM requirement, Hazardous Area classification, PHA/hazard study, LOPA, SIS analysis, static electricity prevention practice, resin manufacturing, solvent/combustible powder safe handling and etc.
    • Identify and develop expert pools in the respective Cluster sites.
    • Facilitates PSM capability building, i.e. faculty trainings, PSM related topic training in the respective Cluster.
    • Participates in the investigation of HSE&S incidents, corporate HSE&S audits, etc.
    • Contributes to the design of global PSM common platform programs, tools and templates, act as the expert to provide valuable input.
    • Coach PSM expert pool.
    • Other tasks which are assigned by management.

    Level of Autonomy


    The Process Safety Manager will have autonomy in making decisions related to:

    • Validating the quality of hazard studies and proposed solutions by sites.
    • Agreeing with site and regional management on the prioritization of capex budgets for process safety improvements and PSM-related regulatory requirements.
    • Implementing the PSM strategy for the Cluster sites in collaboration with stakeholders.

    Job Requirements


    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline.
    • 5 years’ experience in the process industry or large manufacturing facility, preferably in plants with hazardous substance utilization/handling.
    • Knowledge and application skills in the principles of process safety management in line with legal requirements and industry practice.
    • Proven track record of working on safety, health, and environment (HSE) management systems.
    • Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and data analysis skills.
    • Collaborative and decisive with a high ethical standard.
    • Excellent communicator with the ability to engage with specialists and stakeholders.
    • Positive influencing skills within a matrix organization.

    Compensation/Benefits


    The salary range for these skills is: $110,000 to $125,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
