We are hiring a Process Technician. The Process Technician is an essential function of the Engineering team that is necessary to monitor and improve manufacturing processes. They are responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine parameters, testing batch quality, and reporting equipment malfunctions in the production environment. 

What You'll Do:

• Support Engineering in trials in regards to setup, data collection, tracking, and execution
• Daily Process Parameter Verification on Casting Machines
• Troubleshoot, track and correct shot problems with support as needed
• Focus Cell Improvement Tasks
• Evaluate castings for defects/coating issues and support/train operators to correct
• Torch Maintenance
• Training operators on proper startup/shutdown procedures
• Identify and work with maintenance to correct machine issues
• Backup Support for mold setters
• Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor and management

Requirements

What We Need from You:

• 3 years applicable experience or equivalent education and experience
• Must have experience with troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment issues
• Intermediate mechanical and/or electrical basic problem solving
• Ability to operate small hand tools, inspection equipment, and common office equipment
• Must be able to generate, follow and explain detailed proposals and operating procedures
• Must be able to analyze and correct complex product and/or process issues using independent judgment
• Must be able to routinely make decisions that affect immediate operations
• Must be able to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasks
• Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)
