SUMMARY

A Technical support position that, under supervision, understands and satisfactorily exercises the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of efficient mold changeovers and material handling.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

§ Review daily job change schedule and priority determined by scheduling.

• Police press and workstation area per 6S standards.
• Complete all necessary documentation.
• Perform 6S audits per the audit schedule.
• Submit Corrective Actions for issues that cannot be addressed immediately.
• Ensure that an adequate inventory level of Tech Level 2 supplies is maintained.
• Develop and continuously improve mold/material changeover standard work instructions.
• Teach trainees in efficient mold/material changes.
• Understand and assist with basic machine and tooling preventative maintenance.
• Participate in internal problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with material handling activities as needed.
• Assist with basic processing activities as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
