Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Test Technician position is part of the Test Department Team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):
- Perform simple to complex assembly & test operations, as required.
- Test and inspect product to ensure specifications are met.
- Report any deficiency and discrepancies to the Process Expert or Production Supervisor.
- Follow department processes to ensure ISO compliance.
- Use basic judgment in quality analysis and communicate with Process Expert.
- Adhere to and comply with all ISO and Company policies and safety regulations.
- Maintain clean, neat, safe, and orderly work area.
- Display excellent communication skills with all team members.
- Attend and participate in required training and meetings.
- Other essential duties as assigned.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
- Recommends changes in wiring or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
- Capable of performing all duties listed including prototype designs, standard products, and auxiliary equipment.
- Documents revisions to design, ensures schematics are updated via ISO procedures.
- Enters information on production records, logs, and other report forms.
- Recognition of nonconforming products and services.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Associates Degree or equivalent in Electronics. Electronics course certificate, military electronics training, or previous experience required.
- Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital electronic circuits to the component level.
- Experience in the use of electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, calibrators, etc.
- Ability to setup and/or program test equipment.
- Ability to read and understand electronic schematics, follow test procedures, and interpret other technical documentation
- Maintain calibration of electronic test equipment.
- ESD Awareness training.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical team members.
- Familiarity with power electronics is a plus.
- Possess basic math, measurement, reading and comprehension skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work on your feet for an extended period of time
- Ability to problem solve in a fast paced, quality focused environment
- Ability to perform basic data entry on computer.
- Detail oriented with high levels of accuracy
Compensation
This position is fulltime, hourly, and non-exempt. Compensation typically follows industry median for Northwest Wisconsin. Compensation is also based on fit in the Wage Structure. You may be eligible for an annual bonus. This is a mid to long-term role with room to cross train in production departments.
