ATI is hiring an Extrusion Manufacturing Process Technician for our Albany, Oregon facility. In this role you will be responsible for providing tooling design and process support for the Extrusion Department. Specific responsibilities will include tooling design, procurement, and inventory management for the Extrusion Press, Pilger Mills, and supporting equipment. In addition, this position will be responsible for the development, design, and management of critical process parameters for the extrusion and tube reduction processes; as well as providing applicable coaching and education to the organization.
To be successful as an Extrusion Manufacturing Process Technician, you should have in-depth knowledge of metalwork and engineering, a good eye for detail, and the ability to visualize structural components. A competitive candidate is able to translate ideas into expertly crafted metal forms ready for the manufacturing process; and be able to effectively troubleshoot complex manufacturing processes.
