Job Summary
10 years in the trade with knowledge in industrial machinery maintenance, machinery mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, automated process equipment, printing equipment, electrical installations and troubleshooting, three and single-phase electrical systems troubleshooting, programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and HVAC systems, as well as be familiar with CMMS systems. The Maintenance Process Technician Senior reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and assists on training the Maintenance Department as needed. The Technician Senior must be capable of reading schematics, blueprints, and other technical drawings, and use written documents, manuals, or work instructions to complete repairs and maintenance of process equipment, equipment rebuilds as well as maintaining proper inventory levels. The Technician Senior should be strong in at least six fields, considered a skilled maintenance person, and must be capable of demonstrating proficiencies in each skill needed to perform their duties as required by this position. The Technician will be maintaining all process equipment through troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance, keep machines in working order, detect, diagnose and schedule repairs on machinery before it breaks down. Technicians will be required to learn new equipment and processes added to the production processes. Shift work and overtime at times will be required.
