This role oversees the day-to-day functions of the warehouse and co-warehouse. It is considered a supervisor to the Fulfillment Team, and supports the Members of the co-warehouse. This is a working manager position. The warehouse tends to be a busy place. Our team members work together to receive, maintain, report on, package, and ship out physical inventory from our warehouse. Order fulfillment is a fast paced and detail-oriented work environment, with both physical and technological requirements. We also support the members of our co-warehouse in various ways including receiving, flex staffing, building maintenance matters, billing and admin matters etc.

The essential functions of this position include:

-Supervising our small but growing fulfillment team and operations

-Maintaining customer inventory and reporting needs

-Portal administration tasks, including adding/removing SKUs, photographing items, adding/removing users, setting up automated alerts for low inventory levels, etc.

-Connecting Ernest’s warehouse management system to customer shopping cart(s) and monitoring order flow for accuracy

-Pricing and managing kitting projects, explaining fulfillment pricing to potential customers

-Daily Warehouse activities that may pop up including but not limited to:

• Coordinating delivery schedule for incoming shipments
• Receiving merchandise on behalf of customers, while verifying the quantity and quality of goods
• Responding to customer inquiries regarding their inventory or shipments, including providing reports as requested
• Maintaining positive relationships with customers and external partners, including communication regarding questions related to tasks at hand
• Fulfilling and shipping orders for physical inventory placed on a variety of systems – including individual customers’ websites and our internal client management software
• Pricing “best way” shipping methods, printing labels and packaging items being sent via UPS, FedEx, USPS, and/or freight in a way that ensures their safe delivery
• Maintaining inventory management supplies, including boxes, labels, and other materials used from day to day

-Daily Co-Warehouse activities include:

• Controlling access for members and visitors
• Basic tidiness throughout the day of co-working space, including restocking paper in the printer, stocking snacks and drinks in the breakroom, making sure meeting rooms are presentable before/after bookings
• Leading tours for interested parties
• Answering phones and assisting visitors and members as needed

-Flexibility in and willingness to embrace and prioritize different tasks from day to day or week to week

-Performing other related duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Available to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 hours daily between the hours of 7 am - 6 pm at our Asheville, NC location
• The ability to adapt to and pick up new software systems is a must for this position
• This position requires up to six hours daily of standing, walking, bending, and lifting/transporting upwards of 35 pounds above the waist
• Proficiency in computer navigation skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
• Previous warehouse and fulfillment experience is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, USPS, and/or freight shipping is a plus
• Possess strong communication skills with the ability to work as a member of a team, plus the initiative to complete tasks individually

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.27 - $25.62 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
