Warehouse Manager manages warehouse operations and processes. Oversees receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. Objectives:
Essential Functions:
• Use software to track, check, prioritize and route deliveries
• Develops daily checklists and capture performance data
• Maintains shipping standards while adhering to CCM Policy and Objectives
• Responsible for collecting shipping data and identifying variances compared to CCM standards
• Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, load sheets, bills of lading etc.
• Direct the flow of merchandise from pulling to staging to shipment
• Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders (Pallet tickets, load sheets etc.)
• Supervise and lead subordinates (shipping and receiving clerks, order pickers, dock workers etc.)
• Collaborate with other warehouse departments and other managers to optimize processes
• Ensure quality of shipments before they are sent out
• Responsible for maintaining company Health and Safety including OSHA standards, and promotes Safety standards
• Coordinates training of new employees, current employees and labor management
• Executes SOPs and hold your team accountable, including progressive discipline when necessary
• Manages employee time and attendance, and updates hours appropriately
• Completes and revises daily end of shift reports
• Provides feedback to develop employees and future leaders
• Updates and communicates labor needs regularly
• Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
• Report to warehouse management on activities and issues
Requirements
• Proven experience as a shipping manager
• Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
• Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Communicate updates and needs to warehouse customer, and carriers
• Must be accurate with attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (until work is done), including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:
• Must have ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to bend and twist frequently
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years shipping management preferred
