Warehouse Manager manages warehouse operations and processes. Oversees receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. Being a Warehouse Manager optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space. Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials. Additionally, Warehouse Manager utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance. Implements strong safety polices and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Warehouse Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Warehouse Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Under the direct supervision of Warehouse Management, the Warehouse Attendant is responsible for monitoring stock levels and quality of inventory, stocking all received Warehouse products, and distributing products to all internal departments via the enterprise system.

    Responsibilities

    • Stocks Warehouse with received merchandise to multiple storage locations with over 2,500 SKUs using the First In First Out process by dating products and ensuring rotation at the storage location.• Pulls products for the departments using the Requisition System following FIFO.• Completes documentation with signatures and records deliveries.• Follows HACCP and Food Handling Policies and Procedures for receiving and storing all food and beverage products. • Assists with receiving and checking in all food and non-food items.• Separates inbound goods, organizes, and delivers merchandise to internal departments, or communicates arrangements for pick up by departments.• Conducts daily and weekly inventories by category to determine items needed for purchase.• Verifies and documents regularly the temperature of refrigeration and products per HACCP guidelines.• Operates powered pallet jacks and forklifts in addition to manual equipment.• Cleans, sanitizes, and organizes warehouse.• Learns and understands property and warehouse layouts.• Follows safety guidelines. • Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash.• Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred. • Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing preferred.• Basic proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office and database applications and e-mail.• Basic math skills with an understanding of standard units of measure.• Knowledge of pallet jack operation and forklift with certification preferred.• Must be able to read and write legibly in the English language.• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.• Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Gaming Agency.• Native American hiring preference applies.
