Warehouse Manager manages warehouse operations and processes. Oversees receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. Being a Warehouse Manager optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space. Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials. Additionally, Warehouse Manager utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance. Implements strong safety polices and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Warehouse Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Warehouse Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for performing various duties to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse. This is a full-time (seasonal) position.Duties:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare shipments by verifying documentation and labeling packages
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock rotation
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environmentExperience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and warehouse safety practices
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory control
