    The Warehouse Supervisor is a full-time on-site position located in Toledo, OH. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position will plan, perform, coordinate and direct all activities in the Pick and Pack Fulfillment, Shipping, and Receiving departments.

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

    • Support the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company.
    • Responsible for planning, prioritizing and overseeing the daily activities of Pick and Pack Fulfillment, Shipping and Receiving employees (direct and temporary).
    • Organize and assign work to accurately and efficiently meet daily order fulfillment targets.
    • Communicate changes and deviations from the daily fulfillment targets and inventory shortages to Customer Service promptly.
    • Set and communicate productivity and quality standards.
    • Set up and maintain internal controls to insure all applicable SOPs (Pick and Pack Fulfillment, Cycle Counting, Physical Inventory, Receiving, Shipping, Product Packaging, etc.

    • Safety for you and your team at all times, but especially when operating powered material handling equipment, using lifts and ladders, or working on pallet racks.
    • Participate and be a member of the Blink Safety Committee.
    • Identify, document, and communicate performance standards and best practices (Warehouse Standards, etc.).
    • Housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of all storage areas, aisles, docks, work stations, and equipment within the warehouse and the dock area outside the building.
    • Monitor and analyze departmental quality and performance metrics and respond to any trends that should be addressed.
    • Train and coach the warehouse staff to facilitate a company culture that values professionalism, teamwork, and personal growth in skills.
    • Effective communication and coordination among all departments.
    • Identify needs for, and participate in, implementation of standardized processes.
    • Identify the resource needs for your team and advocate for them.
    • Provide leadership through personal behavior, engagement with employees, and focus on results.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES :

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Supervisory experience.
    • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals with or without hand-held calculators.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills; active listener, easily establish rapport with your team and co-workers.
    • Commitment to facilitate a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
    • Thorough knowledge of Warehouse SOPs.
    • Working knowledge of Assembly and Production SOPs.
    • Operate powered material handling equipment and / or be willing to learn.
    • Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and other PC based tools.
    • Analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
    • High level of self-motivation

    • High integrity

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Preferred five years' warehouse experience, minimum three years' experience.

    AUTHORITY AND AUTONOMY :

    The employee in this position has the authority and autonomy to :

    • Make department operational decisions congruent with the Company's strategic plan.
    • Enforce established policies and procedures in the Warehouse areas.
    • Hire, train, review, and discipline direct reports within appropriate human resource policies and procedures.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

    • Regularly stand and walk while supervising team members.
    • Occasionally required to sit while using a computer or participating in meetings.
    • Occasionally required to stand for long periods while working at equipment, tables and benches.
    • Must occasionally lift and / or move up to seventy-five pounds.
    • Manual dexterity is required for typing, counting, collating, inserting, and manipulating mostly paper and cardboard products.
    • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to distinguish colors, and ability to adjust focus.
