Warehouse Supervisor supervises the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff. Oversees receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. Being a Warehouse Supervisor optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space. Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials. Additionally, Warehouse Supervisor utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance. Implements strong safety polices and procedures. Typically requires an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Warehouse Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Warehouse Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Amazon Locker Customer Service Associate

    Job Overview

    You’re on your way to joining the dedicated team at Amazon that makes the return and pickup of packages convenient for our customers at our Locker retail locations. Associates work in designated retail locations – where it’s convenient for our customers – helping facilitate the delivery and return of customer orders.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Some of your duties may include:
    • Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare for delivery.
    • Assist customers with questions they may have.
    • Work through problem-solving scenarios for customers.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
    • Manage responsibilities for a Locker location, including opening and closing site.
    • Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
    • Receive truck deliveries.
    You’ll also need to be able to:
    • Perform physical labor including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
    • Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
    • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
    • Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
    • Be available to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. with schedules varying week to week.

Depending on the role or location, Amazon provides a $110 Zappos gift code towards the purchase of shoes, in order to have you prepared for your first day on the job.
