Warehouse Supervisor supervises the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff. Oversees receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. Being a Warehouse Supervisor optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space. Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials. Additionally, Warehouse Supervisor utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance. Implements strong safety polices and procedures. Typically requires an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Warehouse Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Warehouse Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Position Summary:
    Reporting to the Asset Certification Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of his team to ensure customer satisfaction and a safe working environment.

    Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
    • Supervises employees to ensure they are working in a safe and efficient manner to meet customer deadlines.
    • Review timeliness of scheduled deliveries and track KPIs to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Pick and stage to meet customer shipment schedules.
    • Create bills of lading; check items to be shipped against work orders, making sure all data is correct.
    • Track inventory levels and order needed supplies in a timely manner.
    • Optimize employee workflow.
    • Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.
    • Train, guide, and evaluate new warehouse workers.
    • Constantly work to improve processes.
    • Unload incoming materials and compare information to packing slip with purchase order to verify shipment.
    • Operate dolly and forklift for loading and unloading of supplies.
    • Ship company product and record shipments in our ERP software, as well as freight company websites.
    • Inspect shipments for damage or defects, make note of any damage/defects found and notify manager.
    • Full-time/in-person attendance is an essential function of this job.

    Experience
    • Experience in a manufacturing facility
    • 1-2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
    • Forklift driving experience.
    • Shipping & Receiving experience.

    Education
    • High School Diploma or GED
