OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for filling customer orders from the warehouse stock, stacking cases on a pallet, and then safely operating a forklift to place the pallet on the truck for delivery. Support warehouse functions in a safe, accurate, efficient, and effective manner, including but not limited to: selection, loading, receiving, replenishment, and returns. Responsible for the safe and effective operation and pre-trip inspection of forklifts, as well as adherence to all Safety policies and procedures. Develop and maintain solid interdepartmental relationships, including effective and consistent communication.
This position is a full-time, Monday through Friday, position with the possibility of an occasional weekend. Extended hours may be required as service needs dictate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to assemble customer orders on pallet ensuring accuracy and quality of orders while meeting company standards for productivity
Able to operate forklift or similar warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Able to obtain and maintain a forklift certification
Ensure proper rotation and product quality in the warehouse
Able to communicate effectively with supervisors
Able to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team
Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and practice ethical conduct
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
Promotes and observes safety and security procedures
Able to use equipment and materials properly
Able to regularly lift or carry up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift full kegs, which weigh up to 170 lbs.
Able to regularly bend, reach, stoop, and walk throughout warehouse
Able to operate an iPad
Must be at least 18 years of age.
PREFERRED:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Experienced in the operation of a forklift, warehouse environment preferred; One (1) year of previous warehouse experience desired.
