Warehouse Worker moves materials within a warehouse and completes other warehouse support tasks. Performs various operations, including unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items to maintain inventory. Being a Warehouse Worker operates hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures. May view or input information into a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other database. Additionally, Warehouse Worker typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Warehouse Worker works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for performing various duties to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse. This is a full-time (seasonal) position.Duties:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare shipments by verifying documentation and labeling packages
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock rotation
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environmentExperience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and warehouse safety practices
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory control
