Volt is actively hiring for a General Laborer in Salinas, CA.

As a general laborer you will be moving palletized material using Material Handling Equipment or loading and unloading trucks. Duties may include electric pallet jack. This will typically require familiarity with a warehouse or distribution environment, ability to operate a pallet jack and ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and good reading, writing, and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Complete diary logs into inventory
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Current forklift license
• High school degree

Pay: $19

Shift- 7 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
