Performs various operations, including unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items to maintain inventory. Being a Warehouse Worker operates hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures. May view or input information into a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other database. Additionally, Warehouse Worker typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Warehouse Worker works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. : Associate with do the following: Pull orders using proper equipment (sit down forklift, Order picker reach (heights), pallet jack, dolly) to ship out, work freight material and put away in assigned locations, do any needed housekeeping, abide by all safety rules/standards. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. This is warehouse work (60%) and outside yard work as well (40%)
