Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager jobs in Stroudsburg, PA

Washington Township is seeking candidates to operate its 250,000 gallons per day sewage treatment plant, three sewage pump stations and gravity collection system.

Candidates must be PADEP certified sewage and collection system operators with current minimum certifications of Sewage Class C1 and E4.

Candidates shall be responsible for making process control decisions in the course of operating the Township sewage treatment plant.

The positions will be full-time and will include other general public works duties such as road and right-of-way maintenance. Candidates must be able to work nonstandard hours.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years in the operations of water/sewage facilities, have excellent written and oral communication skills, be skilled using Microsoft Office Suite as well as other relevant computer software and demonstrate the highest degree of ethical behavior.

Candidates should be aware that this is a physically demanding job and will require climbing and lifting. Confined space entry training is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
