We are looking for a motivated and experienced Garde Manger to join our kitchen staff. The Garde Manger will be responsible for the preparation of all cold foods, such as salads, cold appetizers, sauces etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, a passion for preparing delicious food, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Garde Manger Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of cold foods according to established recipes and standards
• Responsible for properly stocking and organizing the walk-in refrigerator
• Ensure all food items are properly labeled and stored
• Monitor food temperatures, storing food at safe temperatures
• Maintains a clean and sanitary kitchen
• Follows safety and sanitation procedures

Garde Manger Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen
• Working knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation guidelines
• Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
• Knowledge of basic culinary techniques
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
