Waste Water Treatment Technician jobs in Corpus Christi, TX
Waste Water Treatment Technician ensures that pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum equipment and other waste water treatment equipment are functioning properly. Monitors equipment for potential failures and may make minor repairs or adjustments as needed. Being a Waste Water Treatment Technician collects water samples for chemical analysis. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Additionally, Waste Water Treatment Technician typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Waste Water Treatment Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. We currently have a position available for an experienced safety conscious Equipment Operator/Technician to work in our Thermal Operations at our site in Three Rivers TX. This is a 7 day on 7 day off schedule. (12 Hour Shifts)
Pay Range: $20-$24/hr. DOE
Job Description:
Duties include truck traffic and unloading of End Dumps and Bottle Trucks in designated pits.
Performing washouts on End Dumps and Bottle Trucks as needed.
Cleaning of equipment's daily or per shift and performing Pre and Post Opt Inspections on equipment.
Operating Heavy Equipment for material handling. Excavators, ADT's, Wheel loaders, Forklift.
On planned outages work as a team to deliver results and meet deadlines on pending repairs to run out operations efficiently.
Be involved in daily safety meetings.
Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
