Waste Water Treatment Technician ensures that pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum equipment and other waste water treatment equipment are functioning properly. Monitors equipment for potential failures and may make minor repairs or adjustments as needed. Being a Waste Water Treatment Technician collects water samples for chemical analysis. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Additionally, Waste Water Treatment Technician typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Waste Water Treatment Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.Benefits for Water Treatment Technicians- Generous PTO package- 15 days/120 Hours to start

- 2-5 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
- Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
- Ability to work in a high customer facing position
- Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physicals
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
