Waste Water Treatment Technician ensures that pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum equipment and other waste water treatment equipment are functioning properly. Monitors equipment for potential failures and may make minor repairs or adjustments as needed. Being a Waste Water Treatment Technician collects water samples for chemical analysis. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Additionally, Waste Water Treatment Technician typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Waste Water Treatment Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Work Schedule: Schedule: M-F, some Saturdays. 9p-5:30a. Training during the day shift as needed
Wages: $23-25 Depending on Experience

Job Duties: Seeking external candidates with experience in operating, calibrating and maintaining wastewater treatment equipment, keeping up with industry standards, repairs, and documentation of all wastewater operations and have a good attitude and be able to learn to do the following:
Education & Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); read and write proficiently in English, proven mechanical experience in related mechanical (or auto) required.
Other: Training will be provided to candidate with mechanical experience and aptitude.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is exposed to warm and humid conditions. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration; occasionally fumes or chemicals and electricity. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
