Wealth Management Specialist develops individualized wealth management financial plans and recommendations to help clients attain financial goals by selecting investment solutions to minimize risk and grow wealth. Being a Wealth Management Specialist keeps abreast of economic conditions and new financial products to inform and advise clients on potential enhancements to existing financial plans and create up-sell opportunities. Monitors client portfolios to ensure appropriate risk profile. Additionally, Wealth Management Specialist follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.     As a Supply Managment Specialist, you will:

    • Perform property management functions, property custody records, and tracks property transfers to ensure accuracy of records in accordance with the requirements of various agency policy Performs quality control checks of Fleet storeroom and stock inventories; generates reports and records, and reviews applicable directives and implements changes as necessary.
    • Develop procedures to ensure proper and accurate accountability of all materials and Government equipment received, issued and on hand by maintaining a system of records.
    • Prepare complete purchase request packages for the Fleet activity, performs market surveys necessary to determine suggested commercial sources/vendors for parts, materials, equipment, or services as required.
    • Serve as Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) when assigned by a Contracting Officer for assigned contracts originating from the Fleet.
    • Serve as the DOT Trusted agent for enrollment and issuance of the DOT Personal Identification Verification (PIV) card. Serves as the field liaison with OST and HQ for all issues related to enrollment and issuance of PIVs to Fleet office employees and supports off-site DGO employees as required.

    The ideal candidate possesses the ability to support supply management, property accountability, PIV application, coordination of training, records management, and reporting activities at the Fleet. Provides quality assurance oversight and audit of the Fleet in the management of property, supply management, and the storage of bulk materials and supplies.

    Qualifications

    To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must (1) meet the Education Requirement for the series, (2) provide a copy of transcripts for verification, AND (3) meet either the education or experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.

    To qualify for the GS-09 on Experience, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-07 it must include:

    • Experience in a wide range of well-established and commonly applied principles, concepts, and methodologies of supply program operations sufficient to provide services and resolve problems.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain both a Government Purchase Card and a Government Travel Credit Card.
    • Experience in the use of office equipment, including calculators, telephone equipment, and personal computer systems.


    To qualify for the GS-09 on Education alone, you must have 2 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or have been awarded a master's or equivalent graduate degree. You can also qualify based on a combination of graduate education and experience. This must be fully supported by your resume and transcripts, provided with your application.


    To qualify for the GS-11 on Experience, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-09 it must include:

    • Experience in performing the tasks of supply management, logistics management, property management, contracting and procurement actions, and contract administration.
    • Experience in procurement functions, including competitive bid procedures, solicitation for quotations from local vendors, basic ordering agreement procedures, small purchase procedures, acquisition of services, Contracting Officer's Representative duties, and contract administration functions sufficient to ensure efficient and effective procurement services.
    • Skill in leadership, reliability, competence, and interpersonal skills in presenting recommendations & and negotiating solutions to administrative, operational, safety, or environmental issues.


    To qualify for the GS-11 on Education alone, you must have:
    3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
    You can also qualify based on a combination of higher-level graduate education and experience. This must be fully supported by your resume and transcripts, provided with your application.

    • Communication - Maintains regular personal contact with employees and officials within the activity served by the quality assurance organization. Contacts include personnel in production, engineering, supply, or related functions in the private sector. Contacts include quality assurance and program officials at higher organizational levels within the agency.
