The Order Management Specialist’s primary responsibilities are to oversee the day-to-day operations of PSA’s Distribution team as it relates to customer service and order integrity. This individual must document and track all internal picking and shipment related errors.  The information will be used to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement activities in effort to eliminate future occurrences.  This individual would be responsible for driving individual and department goals set by the Distribution Center Manager. The responsibilities includes coaching employees, driving the desired performance and behaviors that would enhance customer satisfaction, incentive programs, and promote operational success.

• Record and track internal and external errors that cause detractors to our customer’s experience.
• Handle and expedite request while also maintaining the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
• Oversee the resource allocation and processes used to keep the “Bulk DC” bin clean at the close of shift.
• Work with Receiving management to ensure proper use of the “DWCH” bin for aging orders.
• Communicate and follow up on integration issues between Deposco and Netsuite when there is sufficient inventory to fulfill aging orders in Deposco
• Act as liaison between Customer Service, Dealer Sales and other areas to assist in sequencing and processing request.
• Source product from retail locations when inventory issues are prohibiting the shipment of aged orders.
• Execute the backorder report for internet orders twice weekly and issue refunds when sufficient inventory cannot be located in 24 hours.
• Execute the backorder report for Drop Ship orders twice weekly and issue refunds for the PSA components when inventory cannot be sourced within 24 hours.
• Review the Mfg. backorder report daily to ensure timely receipt and processing of respective orders. Communicate daily with Receiving to prioritize. 
• Motivate and drive behavior through setting examples of character and work ethic.
• Work closely with “Put Back” and the returns department to ensure the physical movement and systemic transactions of product align with warehouse locations.
• Learn true Drop Ship order flow and provide backup assistance in that area during peak periods.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Lead and assist with resolving problems pertaining to order related issues.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Required Qualifications include:

• Associate degree or higher equivalent experience
• 3 years customer service or order management experience
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent written, oral communication, and organization skills.
• Time Management skills
• Able to handle high stress situations calmly and with tact and professionalism.
• Strong people skills with the ability to motivate and promote teamwork and a good working environment.
• Ability to work on multiple task/assignments concurrently. 
• Must be resourceful, dependable, detail oriented, and adapt quickly to change.

Preferred Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Inventory experience (WMS environment) 
• Prior leadership experience (managing task, prioritization)
• Manufacturing experience (emphasis on process and workorder completions)
• Warehouse experience (receiving, picking, pack and shipping operations)

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical office and warehouse/distribution environment, including heavy PC and phone usage.  Most work is performed in an open office environment but frequent requirements to be in the distribution center may persist. There are periods in which the incumbent will search the warehouse for parts needed to fulfill an order.  Specific job assignments may require flexible working hours. Overtime may be required based on workload. Additional training may be required based on business needs.

Heavy PC and moderate phone usage. Sitting for long periods of time. Occasionally lifts from floor to waist up to 10 pounds, carries up to 10 pounds and walks or stands.
