Wealth Management Specialist develops individualized wealth management financial plans and recommendations to help clients attain financial goals by selecting investment solutions to minimize risk and grow wealth. Uses broad knowledge of investment products to educate clients on available investment options and create planning scenarios for retirement, education savings, and other financial objectives. Being a Wealth Management Specialist keeps abreast of economic conditions and new financial products to inform and advise clients on potential enhancements to existing financial plans and create up-sell opportunities. Monitors client portfolios to ensure appropriate risk profile. Additionally, Wealth Management Specialist follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. May be involved with selling or coordinating the purchase of additional financial products or services to clients. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent. May have the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Typically reports to a manager. The Wealth Management Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. In addition, you will be accountable for accurate and current diagnostic coding to ensure appropriate billing of patient care. Position Highlights *Reports to the Center Executive Director *Maintain forms/office supplies inventory as well as the diagnosis list/sheet in the electronic system. *Perform ICD coding in consultation with Nursing/Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator (CRC) - RN. *Create medical record for all newly admitted patients/residents *Conduct routine audits of medical records upon admission and throughout patient/resident stay, to monitor compliance with policies regarding documentation, physician visits, and timeliness. *Obtain all appropriate departmental and physician signatures on patient/resident discharge charts within 30 days of patient/resident discharge. *Process medical records requests. *Maintain inactive records in accordance with policy.     Qualifications: *High school degree or equivalent required. *College degree strongly preferred or commensurate experience required. *Certification in ICD coding or working knowledge of ICD coding required. *Certification in Records Management (CRM), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credentials strongly preferred or at least 3 years of experience with records management preferred. *Must possess a working knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations regarding health information management, retention and disclosures, including HIPAA. *Knowledge of medical and anatomical terminology as well as computer programs and coding for diagnosis required. *To protect the health and safety of our patients, residents, employees, family members, and the communities we serve, Genesis has implemented a universal COVID-19 vaccination requirement for employees, care partners and onsite vendors.
