Wealth Management Specialist develops individualized wealth management financial plans and recommendations to help clients attain financial goals by selecting investment solutions to minimize risk and grow wealth. Uses broad knowledge of investment products to educate clients on available investment options and create planning scenarios for retirement, education savings, and other financial objectives. Being a Wealth Management Specialist keeps abreast of economic conditions and new financial products to inform and advise clients on potential enhancements to existing financial plans and create up-sell opportunities. Monitors client portfolios to ensure appropriate risk profile. Additionally, Wealth Management Specialist follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. May be involved with selling or coordinating the purchase of additional financial products or services to clients. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent. May have the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Typically reports to a manager. The Wealth Management Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Wealth Management Specialist typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

    Depending on the position you are applying:

    • $18-25/hr based on performance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
    • Lead weekly and morning meetings; status of ongoing tasks, next steps, and who is responsible.
    • Maintain and update client records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive client information.
    • Coordinate and schedule client meetings and appointments, both in-person and virtually.
    • Assist the Financial Advisor in opening new accounts or executing financial directives of the client with timeliness and accuracy.
    • Adhere to the rules, regulations and compliance guidelines of the finance industry.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and ongoing communication.
    • Office manager tasks including addressing correspondences (phone, email, website), maintaining office operations, updating company Standard Operating Procedures and other clerical duties.
    • Provide administrative support to the Financial Advisor as needed.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients.
    • Problem resolution
    • -Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record management.
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Previous experience in financial client services or administrative role is preferred, but not required.
    • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data entry preferred, but not required.

    Work Hours & Benefits:

    This is an Independent Contract role starting with part time flex hours and increasing to Full time depending on experience & skillset. Compensation will be a competitive hourly along with an annual bonus linked to team and personal performance. Hours will be set together to find the best fit to your calendar.

    Education and Licensing Requirements:

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Offer to selected candidate will be made contingent on the results of applicable background checks

    Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
