Wealth Management Specialist develops individualized wealth management financial plans and recommendations to help clients attain financial goals by selecting investment solutions to minimize risk and grow wealth. Uses broad knowledge of investment products to educate clients on available investment options and create planning scenarios for retirement, education savings, and other financial objectives. Being a Wealth Management Specialist keeps abreast of economic conditions and new financial products to inform and advise clients on potential enhancements to existing financial plans and create up-sell opportunities. Monitors client portfolios to ensure appropriate risk profile. Additionally, Wealth Management Specialist follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. May be involved with selling or coordinating the purchase of additional financial products or services to clients. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent. May have the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Typically reports to a manager. The Wealth Management Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Wealth Management Specialist typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

    Qualifications: Understanding of and experience in investment markets and trades, with the ability to process personal securities transactions. Customer service experience, including excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients. Familiarity with Microsoft applications, data entry and information retrieval software. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Willing to obtain FINRA Series 6, 63 and life, accident, and health insurance licensing. Preferred, one year in securities industry with experience required. Background check is required.

    Job Description: Act on behalf of the employing financial advisor to develop and prepare needs-based analysis or financial plans, recommend fund portfolio options, monitor funding of advisory accounts and communicate with clients on advisory-related services and products. Monitor industry trends.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
