Overview

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT/TASK MANAGEMENT TOOL SPECIALIST (AFMDS):

Bowhead is seeking a Knowledge Management (KM) and Task Management Tool Specialist at Shaw AFB, SC to support 15th Air Force in advising, assisting, advocating, integrating, and certifying (A3IC) its Force Elements at assigned wings and Direct Reporting Units (DRU).  The KM Specialist assists 15 AF Knowledge Management Officer (KMO) execute 15 AF mission directives and serves as Task Management Tool manager to create, route, respond to, and troubleshoot all 15 AF assigned tasks in TMT.

Responsibilities

Specified tasks include but are not limited to:

• Develop and support 15 AF SharePoint sites at the direction of the CoS/DS on NIPR, SIPR domains. This task includes web designer activities
• Maintain 15 AF Battle Rhythm, Strategic Documents, Action Plans, After Action Reports and other Staff documents in an accessible and intuitive SharePoint, or other collaborative, site.
• Maintain accurate resources for wings to use for Special Trophies, Awards, Correspondence and Exercise planning
• Maintain accurate listing of all KM POCs at ACC Staff, and 15 AF Wings/DRUs
• Assist 15 AF staff with "process mapping" and establishing battle rhythm events IAW the commander's guidance under the direction of the CoS/DS; make recommendations for improvement where necessary
• Conduct KM-related training and assistance for 15 AF staff including new arrivals and augmentees
• Provide quality control checks for all TMT/external task responses and ensure documentation is correctly labeled and loaded in the appropriate system. Ensure the task is correctly closed and the appropriate agencies are notified of the results of the tasking request
• Identify and document overall information flow and mission essential processes/procedures across the 15 AF staff execute knowledge and information management activities in accordance with 15 AF Knowledge Management (KM) Plan.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with SharePoint as a manager
• 1 year experience managing tasks at the squadron or higher level
• TS/SCI clearance
• 1 year of experience with TMT as a manager and experience on a NAF or higher staff (highly preferred)
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
