Uses broad knowledge of investment products to educate clients on available investment options and create planning scenarios for retirement, education savings, and other financial objectives. Being a Wealth Management Specialist, Sr. keeps abreast of economic conditions and new financial products to inform and advise clients on potential enhancements to existing financial plans and create up-sell opportunities. Monitors client portfolios to ensure appropriate risk profile. Additionally, Wealth Management Specialist, Sr. follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. May be involved with selling or coordinating the purchase of additional financial products or services to clients. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent. The Wealth Management and Trust Services team provides customized, comprehensive financial management services and solutions to clients. As a key member of the team, the incumbent engages directly with clients to seamlessly deliver a combination of financial planning, investment, tax and/or fiduciary services. In addition, the incumbent works closely with assigned Portfolio Managers and the client's key outside advisors to facilitate and/or perform a broad range of investment, trust, tax and overall financial planning activities for clients. This position includes various and diverse tasks inherent in meeting the service and fiduciary needs of assigned clients. Additionally, the incumbent works with the team to develop and assure team business development goals are met.
Ideal candidates will have bachelor's degree, with major in finance, accounting or comparable discipline preferred with two years relevant work in financial planning, investment advisory, tax preparation and/or fiduciary related activities. Ability to work in a team environment. Proficiency in leveraging systems and processes to execute activities with accuracy and efficiency.
