Wealth Management Specialist, Sr. develops individualized wealth management financial plans and recommendations to help clients attain financial goals by selecting investment solutions to minimize risk and grow wealth. Uses broad knowledge of investment products to educate clients on available investment options and create planning scenarios for retirement, education savings, and other financial objectives. Being a Wealth Management Specialist, Sr. keeps abreast of economic conditions and new financial products to inform and advise clients on potential enhancements to existing financial plans and create up-sell opportunities. Monitors client portfolios to ensure appropriate risk profile. Additionally, Wealth Management Specialist, Sr. follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. May be involved with selling or coordinating the purchase of additional financial products or services to clients. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent. Typically has the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Typically reports to a manager. The Wealth Management Specialist, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Wealth Management Specialist, Sr. typically requires 7+ years of related experience.     S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. is seeking candidates for a Payroll and Benefit Specialist position in our Cranberry Township office. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of employee pay and for assisting with the accurate and timely administration of employee benefit and retirement programs. This position requires in-office work in our Cranberry Township office; this position may transition to a 3-day/week in office and 2-day/week remote position after key metrics are achieved. 

     

    Key Responsibilities of the Role

    • Process payroll bi-monthly and in accordance with the firm’s timeline and policies, accounting for change in benefits and employment status, as well as various laws and regulations (including but not limited to overtime, payment of final wages, etc.)
    • Process employee benefits with providers and review systems and reports regularly, ensuring invoices are reconciled
    • Utilize HRIS for benefits, pay, and other reporting requirements and needs
    • Review ACA and W2s from HRIS
    • Assist with governmental reporting and utilizing HRIS data to streamline the process 
    • Process and administer leave of absences
    • Assist with open enrollment, ensuring HRIS is rolled forward and information is uploaded 
    • Manage 401k administration, including annual reporting, payroll reporting, tracking eligibility, assisting with rollovers, compliance and interim testing, and assisting auditors
    • Serve as system administrator in performance and compensation systems, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information in the systems


    Required Skills/Abilities 

    • Proficient with various technologies, including Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, HRIS and the ability to learn additional technologies and systems
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills while also demonstrating effective teamwork and collaboration 
    • Ability to take initiative and work proactively 
    • Ability to think critically and have a high attention to detail while meeting deadlines, sometimes at short notice
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality with clients, vendors, and employees
    • Adept administrative, time management, and organizational skills and the ability to multitask
    • Thorough understanding of payroll, benefits, and related laws and regulations

     

    Education and Experience

    • BA/BS Degree required or equivalent education and experience
    • REQUIRED: Minimum of 3 years of experience with processing payroll within HRIS 
    • Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of experience with benefit administration
    • Additional specialized certification/training preferred (such as HIPAA Training, COBRA Certification, etc.)

     

    Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time (to work hybrid; must be able to carry computer and other necessary items)
    • Ability to travel as need (to other offices), seldom
