Wealth Management Specialist, Sr. develops individualized wealth management financial plans and recommendations to help clients attain financial goals by selecting investment solutions to minimize risk and grow wealth. Uses broad knowledge of investment products to educate clients on available investment options and create planning scenarios for retirement, education savings, and other financial objectives. Being a Wealth Management Specialist, Sr. keeps abreast of economic conditions and new financial products to inform and advise clients on potential enhancements to existing financial plans and create up-sell opportunities. Monitors client portfolios to ensure appropriate risk profile. Additionally, Wealth Management Specialist, Sr. follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. May be involved with selling or coordinating the purchase of additional financial products or services to clients. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent. Typically has the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Typically reports to a manager. The Wealth Management Specialist, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Wealth Management Specialist, Sr. typically requires 7+ years of related experience.     PMW/A 170 is the Communication and Navigation Program Office, supporting both the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (PEO C4I) and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). As a Program Office, PMW/A 170 manages the acquisition, fielding, integration, and support of a wide variety of communications and GPS based PNT systems throughout the Naval enterprise. The Program Office is the leading provider of global voice, video, and data information exchange capability and fleet-wide GPS-based PNT services for the United States Navy. PMW/A 170’s mission is to provide and support a range of interoperable, cost-effective Communications and Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems and services that support the Navy’s global mission. These systems are installed and operated on surface, subsurface, space, and airborne platforms deployed worldwide.

     

    Reporting to the Program Manager, the Sr. Contracts Management Specialist provides contract management and other acquisition support to Assistant Program Managers (APM) and other clients on the PMW/A 170 Professional Support Services (PSS) contract. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

    What You'll Do

    • Develop pre-award documents including Statement of Work (SOW)s, Market Research and Requests for Information (RFI), Justifications and Approval (J&A), coordinate with our cost team for the development of the IGCE, tracking of requirements for Production pre-award contract.
    • Work with DMEA’s COR/Contracts Office and Air Force Contracting Officer/Specialist to provide any needed information to support the requirement.
    • Develops the GFI/GFP list, supports routing of all documents within in PMW/A 170 and externally with NAVWAR 2.0.
    • Adhere to milestones and deadlines; advise clients on alternate strategies as necessary.
    • Manage and execute all post award activities for previous task orders – CDRL management, PMR assessment, requirements tracking, etc.
    • Bid and proposal support if requested.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    What We're Looking For

    Required Qualifications:

    • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required. 
    • At least 10 years of experience relevant to pre-award and post-award contract management support; portion of which (3 years) must have been at NAVWAR executing in collaboration with NAVWAR 2.0.
    • Working Knowledge of the following on arrival: DoD acquisition frameworks, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

     

    INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $85,000. – $115,000. This position is eligible to participate in our corporate 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) programs, and may be eligible for performance bonuses, and other rewards and benefits (see more about our compensation package and benefits offered at Culture @ INDUS | INDUS Technology). The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
