Web Administrator administers and maintains the organization's websites.     This position is not remote - this is an onsite position in Dayville, CT or Fort Wayne, Indiana.


    POSITION SUMMARY

    This position is responsible for improving organizational performance and delivering strategic analysis that enables data driven decision making by leveraging data sets derived primarily from the ERP system. Accountable for maintaining optimized inventory levels and supply chain planning through the collection of product information data from key functional stakeholders at multiple sites and ensuring its accurate entry into the ERP system. The Business Analyst will use this data to assess production processes and systems for continuous improvement opportunities.  Additionally, they will provide analysis and modeling in support of business planning in areas such as sales & margin analysis, demand planning & forecasting, capacity & capital equipment planning, scheduling, headcount/manpower planning etc.   

     

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

    • Accountable for the market-wide product data integrity within the ERP system that affects how the system plans production and inventory. This includes: demand forecasts, bills of materials, production routings, item coverages, working calendars, lot sizes, run frequencies, planning time fences, throughput rates, etc.         
    • Interact frequently with site stakeholders: Plant Management, Production Schedulers, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, and Sales, etc to ensure the above parameters are aligned with the current business conditions.          
    • Drives strategic inventory objectives by using demand signals received from forecasts and translates this into supply or replenishment signals based on available inventory, lead-time and capacity.        
    • Works with sales team, customers, and suppliers on strategic new customer opportunities to model and develop win/win options for value proposition, pricing, capital, throughput and capacity, and timing.         
    • Monitor and analyze current business processes and provide input into business planning processes: capital, equipment, facilities, material costing, etc.            
    • Provides an analytical perspective on overall business and provides actionable insights to help streamline its business processes          
    • Performs financial modeling to help with complex data & systems while improving productivity and data-driven decisions              
    • Raise visibility to capacity, capital, or manpower shortages that may need to be addressed to fulfill the company’s revenue plan                
    • Establish and maintain KPI’s, dashboards, and/or other metrics to monitor performance and show progress on initiatives.            
    • Use ERP functionality to perform “what if” or alternate business scenario planning exercises.
    • Performs any other function or responsibility as assigned  

    Additional REQUIRED Qualifications/Skills:  

    1. Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Management, Data Analytics, Business Management or similar field.

    2. Five years of experience in material and/or manufacturing planning and analysis or equivalent. Broad knowledge of supply/demand process.

    3. Demonstrated ability in the areas of analytical thinking, cost-benefit analysis, interpersonal & Communication skills, as well as development of KPI’s/metrics.

    Additional PREFERRED Qualifications/Skills:  

    1. APICS certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply chain Professional (CSCP) a plus.

    2. Lean or Green Belt Six Sigma certification a plus.
