    LOCATION: Angels Camp, California

    SUPERVISOR: IT Director

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Information Technology (IT) Administrative Support and Web Media Specialist will provide technical assistance and support to the IT Department and IT Director and maintain MACT Health Board's online presence. The individual will assist the IT Director in day-to-day operations, technical research, troubleshooting, vendor communications, knowledgebase documentation, scheduling, and support. The individual will maintain, update, and enhance the organization's website and social media. The individual will assist as needed with IT support calls and IT projects.

    This position will assist in developing department documentation, including but not limited to policy and procedures, step-by-step guides, training material, and reports. This position requires the individual to learn the basic technical aspects of the organization in order to provide responses and support for any IT-related projects. This position will assist in responding promptly to online questions and emails by individuals, companies, or patients. The individual will assist in maintaining department deadlines and following up with requests to staff, departments, and vendors.

    This position will require local travel and the occasional shifting of work hours to perform tasks after hours that would impact operations during regular hours.

    The position requires awareness and a keen appreciation of American Indian traditions, customs, and socioeconomic needs and the ability at all times to meet and deal effectively in contact with Indian health organizations, which requires tact, courtesy, discretion, resourcefulness, and sound judgment in handling functions of a sensitive nature.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Documenting, in detail, technical information, troubleshooting, resolution, and workaround steps within the IT Department's OneNote application.

    2. Reviewing and documenting our current telecommunication vendors, invoices, and services. Providing recommendations on changes needed to those services

    3. Keeping MACTHealth.org up to date with events, information, photos, and documents.

    4. Responding to website-submitted questions and emails from individuals, companies, and patients.

    5. Develop, schedule, and maintain regular social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, ext.) after proper approvals.

    6. Assisting in testing of potential and new equipment. Providing a detailed report of findings and recommendations.

    7. Assist in coordinating, scheduling and communicating IT projects, updates, upgrades, outages, and planned downtimes.

    8. Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction as needed.

    9. Assess the IT Department's Helpdesk ticketing system annually and provide options if a replacement is needed.

    10. Report and maintain the department's HotSwap stock of equipment. Request, research, and provide options when new equipment is needed.

    11. Assist with the onboarding of new employees.

    12. Develop a follow-up process to gauge employee satisfaction with the support provided to them.

    13. Research, recommend, and implement a new asset tracking system for all equipment and software related to the IT Department.

    14. Review NextGen's User Security Groups annually and provide recommendations for any changes that should be made.

    15. Understanding end-user workflows within NextGen along with the software's basic functionality.

    16. Assist with upgrading and updating our Intranet site.

    17. Assist in the resolution of training issues communicated by end users.

    18. Other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Technical degree or equivalent experience of at least 2 years (A Certification highly desired)

    2. Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11.

    3. Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    4. Understanding and experience with telecommunications and networking.

    5. Demonstrate proven ability to quickly grasp new technology and knowledge.

    6. Ability to work and communicate effectively within a healthcare setting.

    7. Able to effectively communicate technical information orally and in writing to non-technical audiences.

    8. Able to operate effectively in a team environment with both technical and non-technical team members with minimal supervision

    9. Able to maintain a professional demeanor under stress.

    10. Self-motivated, self-directed, team-oriented, responsible, and reliable, with a positive attitude and a proactive style.

    MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Must pass Occupational Health Screening.

    2. Must possess a valid CA Driver's license and automobile insurance.

    3. Possesses a valid form of identification as listed on the U. S. Department of Justice I-9 form and processed/authorized using E Verify.

    4. Must adhere to the MACT Health Board, Inc. Corporate Code of Conduct.

    5. Ability to lift 40 lbs.

    DESIRED ABILITIES:

    1. Knowledge of software and hardware systems and workflow dynamics.

    2. Knowledge and training in the HIPAA regulations.

    3. Strong listening and customer service skills.

    4. IT experience in a healthcare environment.

    5. Electronic Health Record and Practice Management software experience.
