Web Content Director establishes and directs the strategic long-term goals, policies, and procedures for the curation of content utilized on web, mobile, and other platforms. Develops and directs consistent methodologies to analyze content consumption data and to define content needs. Being a Web Content Director determines the long-term resources required to accomplish the organization's business objectives. Leads negotiations with vendors to obtain content. Additionally, Web Content Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Web Content Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Web Content Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Located in Aberdeen, South Dakota, Midstates is ranked as one of the top 135 commercial printing companies in the U.S. and Canada. This position functions as Web Press General Production. Responsibilities include stacking printed signatures evenly and in a timely fashion on a pallet or skid while checking for quality and assisting the crew where needed. This position also includes working with others in the company to provide the highest level of customer service.
