Web Content Director establishes and directs the strategic long-term goals, policies, and procedures for the curation of content utilized on web, mobile, and other platforms. Develops and directs consistent methodologies to analyze content consumption data and to define content needs. Being a Web Content Director determines the long-term resources required to accomplish the organization's business objectives. Leads negotiations with vendors to obtain content. Additionally, Web Content Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Web Content Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Web Content Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Your Role

    • Part of a team that manages the Sangoma family of websites.
    • Manage the web content management systems in Wordpress and Drupal.
    • Design and develop dedicated responsive landing pages and websites utilizing HTML/CSS/js.
    • Estimate, document and execute projects on schedule.
    • Optimize the performance of web pages for speed and SEO.
    • Translate wireframes and mockups into HTML and CSS.
    • Monitor and report website performance issues and coordinate with the IT team to resolve problems
    • Assist in maintaining the web applications used in marketing.
    • Working in a team environment, collaborating and communicating with other team members to provide a world class web experience.

    Your Background:

    • 2 years experience as a web developer
    • Strong preference to the Wordpress CMS. Experience in Drupal and other CMS platforms will also be considered.
    • PHP7, MYSQL, HTML 5, CSS and Java Script knowledge highly preferred.
    • Experience with source code control through platforms such as Git and Stash.
    • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Ability to balance multiple projects concurrently.
    • Great communication skills.
    • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment, while staying aligned with corporate goals.
    • Ability to take critique, criticism, and instruction well and apply suggestions appropriately.
