We have an exciting opportunity open for a Customer Service Sales Support Specialist based in Fort Smith, AR.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Deliver professional customer service during all customer interactions regarding existing natural gas service, new service request and other general interactions. Provide ongoing support to customer development team during new service installation and conversion process. Provide support required by customer service teams or general policy and procedures as approved by the State Public Service Commission.

 PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interaction with customers concerning their accounts or general policy and procedures via multiple contact channels
• Research, analyze and evaluate all relevant information through the Customer Information System and other resources required to resolve service requests, inquiries, and complaints.
• Accurately complete all request for new service and changes to existing service
• Promote overall team success by completing assigned task on-time and in line with daily schedule
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism and commitment to continuous improvement
• Support Customer Development Team by performing research, gathering location, and customer information
• Create new location in Customer Information System
• Maintain positive relationships with builders and real estate agencies to streamline communications and monitoring of order completion for sales growth
• Perform regular status review of installation or conversion and take appropriate action
• Ensure all stages of new service installation are completed prior to meter set

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• 2-3 years customer service experience required
• Demonstrated ability to resolve issues with a high degree of professionalism
• College degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience
• High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent required 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Must be able to perform job duties in customer service, 
• Must be able to handle interactions through multiple forms of contact (inbound/outbound phone calls, email, chat etc.),
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
• Ability to utilize Customer Information Systems and other applications
• Must be team oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including, but not limited to; strong listening skills, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, stress management, problem solving and decision- making skills.
