    Description

    Position will be under the general direction of the eCommerce Manager and be responsible for assisting in online product merchandising, content management and site design for beautybrands.com. This role will follow and establish control-related standards and procedures for site as well as execute, develop and provide direction for marketing and promotional efforts to be executed online.

    Specific Responsibilities:

    • Responsible in supporting the daily management of all online content and product merchandising of beautybrands.com. 
    • Coordinate marketing and promotional efforts to be executed online.
    • Effectively and accurately import promotional and necessary content information into the ecommerce platform (Salesforce) and company data system (JDA).
    •  Supports and executes quality assurance on beautybrands.com. Reviews, edits and proofreads all content. Performs site updates using an Admin tool for a template-based solution; includes editing content pages, promotional landing pages, brand support materials, value added content, etc.
    • Assists in managing the production process, including planning, organizing and delivery to site specifications. Maintains directories and archives.        
    • Reviews and monitors key daily and weekly performance metrics as well as overall monthly reporting and analytics. Analyzes relevant data to determine go forward product, merchandising and marketing strategies. Act as liaison for website with internal teams communicating site activities as needed.
    • Collaborates with internal product teams to produce promotional design elements for website, while ensuring design and product meets brand strategy and messaging. Collaborates with marketing, product teams and outside agency partner to ensure timely execution of key brand based initiatives.

    Qualifications


    Education/Experience:

    • 4- year college degree
    • 1-3 years of website and/or digital design professional experience
    • Web content software experience preferred

    • Project management experience
    • Ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner
    • Strong process and procedures understanding
    • Ability to meet deadlines and communicate risks, resource needs and priorities
    • Ability to coordinate and develop web content and add to website ensuring that approvals are in place for all updates
    • Competence with HTML, layout, editing, proofing and production tools
    • Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign and/or Figma
    • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to contribute content for site and working well with outside vendor partners
