Thomas Solutions Incorporated is looking to provide ONSITE Interactive Web Designers, subject matter experts (SMEs) in multi-media production to support the education of 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne), Management Support Services, and Administrative duties at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Job Summary
The objective of Multimedia Support positions is to obtain the professional services onsite at Fort Bragg necessary to perform multimedia duties across all types of media platforms – Internet, TV, Radio, and Print.
Essential Job Function:
- Analyze requesters' needs to enable the proper content, graphics and capacity to meet the goals of the website and other Web related platforms.
- Convert written, graphic, audio and video components to compatible web formats: skilled in the use of the following: JavaScript, jQuery, Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), HTML5, Java, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
- Conceptualize, develop, coordinate, build, design, and maintain websites, presentations, and prototype multimedia products for multi-regional audiences.
- Advise client and staff in using web-based information systems to improve overall project efficiency based on research and analysis of commercially available technical solutions.
- Perform data mining and statistical modeling used to support target audience identification and segmentation and be capable of analyzing this data to develop and determine measures of performance and measure of effectiveness for projects and programs
- Interactive Web Designer shall have knowledge of industry best practices and solutions for hosted web solutions (websites) as well as digital media solutions to include; email, short message service (SMS) and multimedia messaging service (MMS) which include advanced segmentations techniques as well as dynamic content assembly.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- The Interactive Web Designer shall possess the necessary web technology familiarity and coding skills required to develop, coordinate, design, build and maintain interactive, media-rich websites and prototype multimedia products for multi-regional audiences.
- Designer shall have an understanding of data mining and statistical modeling used to support target audience identification and segmentation and be capable of analyzing this data to develop and determine measures of performance and effectiveness for projects and programs.
- Have knowledge of industry best practices and solutions for hosted web solutions (websites) as well as digital media solutions to include email, short message service (SMS) and multimedia messaging service (MMS) which include advanced segmentations techniques as well as dynamic content assembly.
- Be proficient in JavaScript, Java, HTML, CSS, Python, PHP, Ruby, Swift, C , and C.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in web programming and five (5) years of experience.
Preferred: An advanced degree in any of the following disciplines:
- Computer Programming, Communications, Graphic Arts, Writing, and Digital Multimedia Communications.'
