Web Product Management Director manages the lifecycle of new technology products or feature enhancements. Researches and develops the roadmap for new products or feature enhancements and plans and oversees the product lifecycle. Being a Web Product Management Director gathers insights from customers and the marketplace to understand needs, new technologies, and trends in the market. Guides the conceptualization, requirements gathering, specification creation, release, and implementation processes. Additionally, Web Product Management Director ensures that product delivery schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development are coordinated with stakeholders to successfully release new products on time and within budget. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Web Product Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Web Product Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     The Director of Product Management is a strategic leadership role at the heart of our mission to deliver exceptional software solutions. This leader will ensure our product offerings are not only innovative and market-leading but also meticulously tailored to the needs of our clients in the Taft-Hartley benefits administration market. You will drive the product strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for Bridgeway's core platforms, Basys and ISSI. Your visionary outlook, coupled with deep industry knowledge, will shape the future of our product portfolio, and uphold our commitment to excellence.


    This position can be remote or on-site/hybrid in our Baltimore, MD or Maple Shade, NJ offices, with travel up to 20% of the time.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-achieving product management professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven product culture.
    • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for our SaaS offerings, translating business strategy into actionable product plans.
    • Interface with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to identify market opportunities, gather requirements, and prioritize features.
    • Champion a customer-first philosophy, ensuring user experience and satisfaction drive the product development process.
    • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory dynamics to inform product decisions and strategic direction.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators for product success, adjusting strategies as needed to meet business goals.
    • Oversee lifecycle management from product conception through retirement, ensuring a seamless and efficient evolution of our product suite.

    Requirements:

    • An experienced leader with a minimum of 5 years in product management, boasting a quantifiable track record of launching and scaling SaaS products
    • A strategic thinker able to point to specific instances where your data analysis led to a product decision that resulted in at least a 20% uptick in adoption or revenue
    • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a multidisciplinary product team
    • An analytical problem solver who employs data-driven decision-making
    • Excellent communicator and presenter, able to articulate product vision and complex ideas to various audiences
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or relevant master's degree is highly desirable
