Web Product Management Director manages the lifecycle of new technology products or feature enhancements. Researches and develops the roadmap for new products or feature enhancements and plans and oversees the product lifecycle. Guides the conceptualization, requirements gathering, specification creation, release, and implementation processes. Additionally, Web Product Management Director ensures that product delivery schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development are coordinated with stakeholders to successfully release new products on time and within budget. The Web Product Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity.     The Global Deal Strategy & Programs (GDSP) is responsible for the AWS Private Pricing Program, designed to offer AWS Customers benefits in exchange for commitments. GDSP is made up of Private Pricing Programs & Experiences (3PX) and Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE). 3PX is responsible for the design and delivery of the end-to-end Private Pricing experience for Customers, Sellers, and Solution Providers to drive scale and growth. SCE is a specialized global deal team that engages with Customers, and partners with the field on deal strategy, structuring, and negotiations through contractual closure for transformational, strategic, large, complex, and/or highly competitive Customer opportunities.

    The Business Analyst II will be responsible for converting data into actionable business insights, leveraging a variety of data platforms and analytical tools to provide timely, meaningful, and consumable information for 3PX leadership and the Private Pricing Product Management (3PM) team. You must thrive on solving complex problems and providing insights to help improve the Private Pricing experience. You will generate insights that will guide product development for our 3PM team and refine Private Pricing mental models that guide our business.

    Data analysis is at the core of AWS’s culture, your work will have a direct impact on the decision making and strategy for our team. You will gather customer insights, mine data, make recommendations, and help senior leaders make key business decisions. You will have the opportunity to work with large and complex data warehouses to gather insights using data from across AWS. These efforts will improve how we scale 3PX and refine technical products that the 3PM team owns.

    Key job responsibilities
    • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to help determine key business conclusions
    • Design, conduct experiments, and analyze data to quantify the Private Pricing Customer's Experience across 3PM-owned tooling to help shape the long-term strategy
    • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting, analysis, and research (data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation)
    • Leverage data to increase the efficiency of our programs, working closely with the business teams to drive optimization
    • Update existing and create new metrics and reporting that help drive business conclusions, continually improving reporting and analysis processes
    • Understand the business challenges and identify data-driven business insights with effective presentation of findings to multiple levels of stakeholders

The base pay for this position ranges from $59,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market.
