Web Product Manager guides and manages the lifecycle of new technology products or feature enhancements. Develops product concepts and designs to facilitate market needs and user requirements. Being a Web Product Manager conducts research and develops a good understanding of the customer's needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors. Develops requirements documents, functional specifications, and mock-ups to clearly illustrate product ideas and concepts. Additionally, Web Product Manager participates in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and integration of products and introducing products to the market. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Web Product Manager occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Purpose:
Provide after sale technical and administrative support for specific product lines. Troubleshoot issues related to installation, specifications and US compliance. Responsible for a product from ideation and the market assessment phase to engineering, testing and marketing.
General Description:
- Train and provide information to sales staff on new products and potential issues related to installation and integration with other products.
- Support external customers through and after sale.
- Act as main point of contact for factory warranty and refunds.
- Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share.
- Improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
- Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services and inventory adjustment.
Requirements
- Requires a BS degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office and versatility to operate different software packages.
- Communication skills required, as well as commitment to finding solutions for internal/external customers.
- Some local and national traveling.
- Preferably fluent in Spanish.
- Ability to work independently.
