Web Product Manager guides and manages the lifecycle of new technology products or feature enhancements. Develops product concepts and designs to facilitate market needs and user requirements. Being a Web Product Manager conducts research and develops a good understanding of the customer's needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors. Develops requirements documents, functional specifications, and mock-ups to clearly illustrate product ideas and concepts. Additionally, Web Product Manager participates in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and integration of products and introducing products to the market. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Web Product Manager occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The Web Experience team is part of our Platform organization, and owns the end-to-end experience of our web dashboard, ensuring a cohesive, consistent, and delightful experience across our entire user base. The web dashboard is the primary interface for our customers and is essential to supporting them across their entire operations - helping them monitor their employees, understand IoT data and generate reports, and conduct critical workflows to resolve issues and ensure their business remains operational. The dashboard also lies at the center of our Connected Operations Platform, driving rich cross-product experiences so that our customers can manage their operations via a single pane of glass. We’re looking for an experienced Staff Product Manager to help re-imagine our web dashboard and build foundations that will allow us to effectively scale across new products and industries.
As a member of the Product team, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end success of new products and features that delight our customers and further Samsara’s vision. Samsara’s approach to product management is rooted in a deep understanding of the customer. You’ll learn about our customers’ operations, identify the most meaningful problems that we could solve for them, and develop a product vision that maximizes the impact Samsara can make on the market.
