Duties and Responsibilities: • Administer and maintain routers, switches, and wireless network infrastructure • Install, administer, and troubleshoot network security solutions • Update software with the latest security patches and ensure the proper defenses are present for each network resource • Perform vulnerability and penetration tests; identify and defend against threats; and develop disaster recovery plans • Configure security systems, analyze security requirements and recommend improvements • Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior • Participate in after-hours and weekend support rotation • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectivesQualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent years of job-related experience in Information Technology • Advanced training certifications may be advantageous • A strong understanding and knowledge of computer, network, and security skills • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to gather and analyze information to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner • Ability to plan and prioritize work activities and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Ability to adapt to regular changes to the work environment including delays or unexpected events • Hold confidentiality of secure corporate information with the highest regard
