Encore Talent is seeking an End User Security Administrator. Key focus will be on mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with policies, and elevating security awareness of the user community through targeted awareness programs, training, and education initiatives. The role emphasizes efficient administration of information security across various platforms and implementing measures to reduce risk and maintain a vigilant stance on security protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform user access requests accurately
- Ensure termination, new hire, and transfer procedures are followed and documented
- Ensure the Comprehensive Information Security Policy and any other agreements (i.e., Remote Access) are acknowledged and signed
- Review, identify and respond to deficiencies noted in quarterly stale account report
- Create new databases or spreadsheets for users, ensuring the proper security is applied as necessary
- Assist in the overall security administration initiative for the company
- Address IS Security related Service Desk Tickets accurately, and in a timely manner
- Develop key performance indicators to quantify volume of IT Security services
- Report metrics to Chief Information Security Officer
- Participate in 24/7 On-Call Rotation will fellow team members as required.
- Communicate any delays in completion of project tasks to the project stakeholders as soon as possible
- Serve as a key project team member alongside project managers, other technical leads, and business subject-matter experts
- Develop and lead peer reviews of technical artifacts such as system and functional requirements, technical specification documents, and software testing scripts, for software selection and development projects
- Lead the implementation and roll-out of projects and/or work efforts and provide support to users
- Support and comply with Information Technology Security policies and procedures including Change Control, project management methodology, and MAR controls ensuring 100% compliance
- Provide technical guidance as level 2 support to Service Desk and company employees at all levels on application and system access, which includes, but is not limited to Outlook and LAN applications
Qualifications:
- At least 3 – 5 years IT Security Administration experience
- Exhibit keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11
- Mainframe ACF2 Administration experience preferred
- Database security (DB2 UDB, DB2 Z/OS, SQL Server, Oracle)
- Active Directory (Delegation of Authority, Group Policy, Organizational Units, Security Groups, Permissions)
- Identify & Access Management (Security Provisioning) processes
- Security controls and processes
- Requires "on-call" out of hours support during evenings, nights, holidays and or weekends
- Exceptional problem-solving, strategic planning, and analytical skills
- Preferred Skills
- Audit Liaison experience preferred
- General understanding of IT Security concepts and control definitions
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to solve problems not addressed by existing procedures and creates new procedures
