About the Role

After a record-breaking 2023, we’re actively seeking a Web Developer to join our team! Ideally, we'd love for this person to be onsite in a hybrid role, but are open to remote candidates as well. This individual will coordinate the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of dynamic company website and web applications to ensure end users see and interact with information in a format that is easy to read and relevant.

In addition, this person will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application and for other technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
 

• Creatively structures high-quality, attractive websites
• Maintains and updates the existing website; designs, implements, and maintains all related plug-ins
• Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software code for components of the website
• Works collaboratively with other members of the team to develop site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website
• Manages functionality of the website; creates and implements testing procedures for the sites; provides direct resolution or collaborates with other team members to resolve issues
• Investigates, evaluates, and implements new technologies to build more effective communication
• Establishes and maintains security protection controls
• Maintains high level of knowledge and skill with all computer software related to the design and production of websites/pages

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent, two to four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to conceptualize creative concepts
• Ability to direct and recommend cost-effective creative solutions
• Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committee
• Professional knowledge and experience with all standards and tools for Internet and web-related content delivery
• Experience with Pantheon
• Experience with Wordpress
• Experience with modern responsive web development
• Experience with HTML, Python, CSS, Front End Frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, Bootstrap), JS and JQuerry
• Experience with Git Version Control System
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 web accessibility standards
