Web Developer duties and responsibilities

- Building & updating WordPress websites

- Checking Google Analytics and recommending actions for growth

- Staying up to date on current technologies and trends

- Creating websites using standard HTML/CSS practices

- Maintaining and updating custom web applications

- Working closely with designers and programmers as a team

- Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content – and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within each timeframe

- Must be self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies as needed

- Maintaining and expanding/enhancing existing websites

- Updating DNS

- Managing hosting through cPanel/WHM

- Expected to perform work from our Westerville office location

- Designing websites and other graphic elements

- Managing web projects from start to finish

- Must be comfortable adapting to new situations and working within client limitations if needed

Web Developer job qualifications and requirements

Knowledge in the following is a requirement: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, ASP.NET/ASP.NET core, cPanel, SQL, PHP, SEO

Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree

Additional Preferred Technologies: Angular, Material Design, WHM, Google Analytics, FTP, Amazon Web Services, Visual Studio, Android App Development, iOS App Development, Version Control Systems

Additional Design Software Knowledge: Photoshop, Illustrator

Additional Preferred Experience: LMS systems, marketing firm work
