Web Software Developer designs and develops software solutions for websites and mobile applications that engage users and meet business requirements. Supports web administrators and designers through the full development lifecycle and contributes to the development of new site features. Being a Web Software Developer develops, implements, and debugs software code. Designs and develops the web infrastructure including back-end database development and the construction of SQL queries via CGI scripting. Additionally, Web Software Developer requires knowledge of web technologies and tools such as CSS, JavaScript, HTML, PERL, PHP, Active Server Pages, SQL, and C++. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. The Web Software Developer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Job Description:
TMC is in search of a Software Developer specializing in Agile software development within the MS Azure ecosystem to support ongoing development of critical FBI IT systems. This position is considered to be a remote position; however, staff may be required to support face-to-face meetings with the business line or end users. There is potential for face-to-face SAFe ceremonies on occasion. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess an active Secret clearance to start due to federal contract requirements.The Software Developer will have experience with the following:
- Developing software to completion with each sprint, as part of an Agile delivery team that uses Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Participating in the design development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or complex enhancements to existing software.
- Requirements elicitation, user story generation, test case generation, and documentation.
- Perform automated software testing on a large-scale IT system.
- Collaboration including other engineers, senior staff, scrum masters, and SMEs.
- Full Integration and performance testing in preproduction environments.
- Performance optimization, system troubleshooting, application and transaction optimization on preproduction and production environments.
- Software development and maintenance specific to front end user experiences
- Software development of backend message processing
- Development and delivery of automated tests
- Microservice development and code refactorization
Active Secret clearance required
Minimum 3 years of software development experience required
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required
